Most Disliked
While many love the food at Mary Mary's Cafe, a few reviews mention the occasional slow service during peak hours. When busy, particularly on Sunday mornings, diners might experience longer wait times for their meals. However, the food's quality often outweighs this minor inconvenience. Some visitors wishing for more variety on the menu might feel limited by the offerings, particularly if they have specific dietary restrictions.
Additionally, a handful of customers express that the cafe’s decor could use refreshing, arguing it doesn’t quite match up to the incredible food. This aspect might deter those who value aesthetic ambiance above culinary experience. Overall, these issues don’t seem to diminish the overall satisfaction that most diners have with their meals.

The food was good, although the service was a little slow. It may be due to high load at the time. We ordered omelettes, pancakes and biscuits with gravy (vegetarian). They were all good. The pancakes with strawberries and cream stood out!

Listen, Mary Mary's is not much to look at and if you are going to judge a book by it's cover this is not the place for you. If you are looking for some of the best diner food in Washington then you have found the right place. Mary Mary's is fantastic and the food always delivers. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak and my wife loves the Waffles. The service is always friendly and you are greeted with a smile.

They have really good food and it has huge serving size. It seems to be busy but it's worth the wait. Service is good and it's clean. My husband used to take are son there ever Saturday. I can't keep the tradition going. But I will take him there every once in a while.

I had to work an overnight job in Tacoma and was looking for a place to have breakfast. Google maps brought me here. I had the Taco omelet with crispy hashbrowns and a biscuit topped with delicious gravy. There was no wait time for a table. Debbie my server was prompt to take my order. She was friendly and had a great , happy and very welcoming personality. The food came out so fast that I thought they knew I was coming and had started it already. The omelet was incredible and my hashbrowns were perfect and crispy. Most places never come close to perfect hashbrowns. Truly top notch. Your restaurant well hidden and off the grid is 1 in a million, the top 1% of of any breakfast restaurant I've eaten at in Washington. My wife and I love to take long drives to what I call destination places. We will be back again real soon.

Today was my first time trying this breakfast restaurant and I absolutely delighted with the food, service and fair prices! I 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great bite at a reasonable price

I ordered the meat lovers omelet with all the vegetables (tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, and peppers).. homefries and country gravy.. also an English muffin. Omelet - was great.. extremely good.. Home fires with country gravy - good.. home fries could have been cooked longer but was still good. English muffin - hard to mess up toast.. it was good.. had butter on it as well.. Service - was good.. The only issue is that my waitress threw my food away when I went to the front to get a to-go box and pay.. She was very apologetic.. I truly don't think she did it on purpose.. So it's no big deal.. but I did want the rest of my omelete.. it was really good.. So a little disappointing. I would definitely come back..
